The museum offers guided visits throughout the year, which are by reservation only and aimed at groups of adult visitors, whether they be associations or employee representative committees.

visite en groupe adultes

Two types of guided visit are available to groups: one focussing primarily on the castle through its history and architecture and the other on exploring contemporary art through the exhibitions and works in the museum.

The timings and programme of these guided visits have been developed in a modular way and are determined with guides, depending on how much time is available. The historical and contemporary visits can be linked together. Visits take place in French or English.

Historical visit (1 hour)

The historical visits provides you with an overview of the architectural heritage of the various eras through which the castle has evolved. The visit includes historical rooms and two rooms with frescoes from the 16th century, and moves into the modern era with works by international artists that have been commissioned over the last 25 years.

Contemporary art exhibition visit (1 hour 30)

Accompanied by a guide, groups will explore current exhibitions presenting works from the museum’s collection, the Raoul Hausmann Resource Library as well as monographic exhibitions by international artists.
